With two new additions to the family, I just had to take a photo of the twins at 10:10:10 today!
They are still only 12 days old (a shame that they weren’t 10 days I suppose!). I started with the inspiration of 10 fingers or 10 toes but in the end I decided that I wanted a clock in view and followed that with displaying 10 cards. The frame contains a photo of my Dad, the twins Grandad - last week marked the 10th anniversary of his death so it felt fitting to include him aswell.

They’re finally here!
After a rather manic couple of weeks including a prolonged stay in hospital, my neices are finally home! There is so much more I want to write about how gorgeous they are and how proud I am of my sister, but that can wait for another day! Besides, I am sure to be posting lots more photos of the little mites in the future
The photo below is one of my favourites so far - “O” seems totally perplexed as to what I’m sticking in her face! Awwwww….

I’ll do a proper post about this gig at some point, but in the mean time, keep an eye on the Radio 2 website - lots of the photos of the gig should be appearing soon. At the moment, this shot is on the homepage!

This years BristFest is taking place this weekend, and last night I headed down to the Harbourside to pick up my weekend press pass.
It was pretty empty when I arrived but slowly picked up during the evening. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the bands performing - both Royal Gala and Spree were very good and deserved larger crowds than had appeared.
My brief was to try and capture crowd shots which, seeing as the site was half empty, proved rather difficult! So, I’ll be heading back there later today to see if I have any more luck.

My sister doesn’t have long to go before the twins arrive! I still can’t quite believe it!

This evening I photographed Seal who was performing at the BBC Radio Theatre for Radio 2’s In Concert - the concert will be broadcast on Radio 2 on Thursday evening and it was fab so be sure not to miss out!
Apparently, the day had been rather hectic for the In Concert team but when I arrived soundcheck was about to start and things calmed down immensely! My first requirement was to grab a shot of Seal with Jo Whiley before he dashed off to do a live segment on Simon Mayo’s Drivetime. They both seemed more than happy to pose for me and I managed to grab this fun shot!
After a quick bite to eat, I managed to grab a few behind-the-scenes shots before preparing for the main concert.
The concert was great and a couple of songs were just amazing (have a listen on Thursday to hear the brilliant cover version that he did!). But thats not to say I didn’t encounter any problems! Seal’s crew had set up a HUGE lighting rig which backlit the stage making it really difficult to get a proper exposure! I also had to manouver myself around the audience who were up and out of their seats as soon as Seal took to the stage! But in the end, it made for some great photos!
