Broken Blog Cake.
Whatever, it’s broken.
Upgrading to WordPress 2.5 broke the blog. Some quick thinking fixed it a bit but it still doesn’t work with the theme I designed for it, so I’m using the pretty deadly-looking 5ThirtyOne v2 for the moment. It isn’t a perfect fit, but I’ve been working on a site redesign for a couple of weeks already and it should be ready soon, so I’ll be sticking with this until then.

Great gig, and I’m really happy with the shots.
He has a great stage presence and did not stop moving around, which is both a blessing and a curse for photographers.
A lot of the time, I’d only just get a chance to focus on him before he started jumping around again, and plenty of my shots were blurred by him moving, but I would have had a much harder time getting a good few different angles in the allowed three songs, if he had stayed in the one spot the whole time.

For all the people arriving here while searching for Gran Casino (after they won the UCD Battle of the Bands last night and were interviewed on Phantom FM this morning), here’s them playing the UCD B&L (Business & Legal) Ball last month.
Shots from UCD Battle of the Bands coming soon. Don’t forget to subscribe if you haven’t already.
Promised these before, here they are:
Couldn’t get the angles I wanted without going out on the street. Kinda like the reflections.
