From the incredibly dull but shockingly wet 0-0 draw between Sligo Rovers and UCD recently. Danny does like to get stuck in but this time I'm afraid he missed the ball - and so did I.

For those of you who might have been wondering why things have been a little quite with my blog I'd like to introduce my daughter Nara. She was born just a couple of weeks ago and she's keeping my hands pretty full at the moment. This shot is from her Passport Photo shoot which I did recently. We need to do a bit of work on the posing :)

Sligo Rovers player Anto Murphy in action. I took
Darren's advice from my last image and spent some time experimenting with bringing out the red a little. I did get a bit lazy though and I avoided doing a cut out - I went with some selective colouring in Lightroom instead (lacks percision but it's fast). Has anybody noticed those new iTunes/Zurich Insurance/3 ads where all the people are black and white with colour used in the backgrounds? What do you think of them? I fear it will get old pretty quick.
