Caught this as I was heading off to work with my trusty little point and shoot. It's not a bad way to start your day when as soon as you step outside your front door you are greeted with something like this.

The Great Barrier Reef

Got the chance to take a quick helicopter ride over the Great Barrier Reef today. My first time in a whirly bird and I must say I loved it! I managed to get a couple of shots while in the air - though I was disappointed with having to shoot through the glass (and for not bringing a longer lens up with me or a polarizer). Ho hum.
