Jonathan Hill: Sitting on the Monkey Tree
I can't believe how time fly's by. My little girl is now six months old! It just seems like she arrived yesterday. Here's a wee portrait from her first demi-birthday.
Jonathan Hill: The Blue Storm
I got to witness an incredible light show last thursday night. The beauty and terror that nature is capable of never ceases to amaze me.
Jonathan Hill: First Strike!
While fumbling with my camera in the teeming rain I nearly got blown off my feet by this huge bolt of lightning which touched down a couple of hundred metres from me. The flash and bang was just awesome! Of course the downside was that we were then without power for 10 hours. Ah well.
Jonathan Hill: Storm Season
They have wonderful big thunderstorms here in Queensland. Much more impressive than anything we have back in Ireland. I suppose it's only fair that a big country get big weather. It's a shame that I left my tripod at home - I think I'll have to purchase one so that I can shoot some lightening shots before the current storm season comes to an end.
Jonathan Hill: Botanical Herb Vandals
I think it could be a great name for a rock or death metal band...
Jonathan Hill: The Nightly Fight
The sometimes spectactular but always reliable battle between night and day. That magic moment as the remaining light picks a side and tips the balance from day to night - as captured over Deception Bay in Redcliffe, Queensland, Australia. My new home for the next couple of months.
