Balbriggan harbour can be full of colour especially on a sunny day. Quite like the days we've been having recently.

Darren Greene: enjoying the sun

§ March 7th, 2010

Sometimes I have to remind myself how lucky I am (at times), how close I live to the sea. I took a stroll down to the harbour late afternoon yesterday due to the presence of the yellow ball shaped thing in the sky. Seems like a few other people had the same idea. Some even sunbathing.

This is my first landscape photo uploaded at 990px wide. I will be showing larger versions more frequently.

This was taken on Palace St. which is one of my favourite places for building shots. It also leads you to Dublin Castle and Dublin City Hall. More great spots for photography.

Darren Greene: welcome to your new home

§ March 3rd, 2010

I visited Glasnevin Cemetery for the first time at the weekend. What a truly magnificent place. It was very peaceful and calming. I don't know why but I really like graveyards.
