Uncategorized: All the fun of the fair
It probably serves me right trying to get the two sheep into the shot of a funfair set up beside the huge beach near Keem on Achill Island (that’s Minaun in the background). I was trying to compose the shot so that there would be space between the sheep (about a second after I took this picture), but slipped and fell into a drain as I was trying to cross it. I was completely covered in very smelly mud and water. ‘Luckily’, I was wearing my swimming gear – I had planned to go for a dip earlier at Keel beach but didn’t get round to it. So I did a bit of inadvertent bog-snorkeling instead. Wouldn’t recommend it.
