Another one from the Galway photowalk last Saturday. At the time it didn’t look too out of place but when you look closely, he’s sitting on a bollard! Now, that can’t be the most comfortable of places, especially if you’re there for a long time. All I can say is, fair play to him – mind you he did seem to reach quite a lot of high notes while he was playing!
I've never posted a swan photo before so feel I felt obliged to do so. Taken on a lough somewhere in Sligo over the weekend. I can't remember the exact place. This is another one with the Holga lens on my D700.
Yesterday morning the queues at the passport office nearly stretched to the bottom of the street again which must have been particularly gloomy/nasty for those waiting given the cold and wet weather. There wasn’t a queue this morning, I’m not sure why, maybe they were let in earlier because of the snowy weather. (And following the beautiful weather we had over the weekend last night’s snow is mad – its April in two day FFS.)
This is another picture from last weekend’s photowalk in Galway. Not only did this man give me the time of day, he posed very nicely for me when I asked if I could take his picture.
Slowly we are upgrading the design and software for each community page of southwest kerry. Valentia Island is the first one - I also added some of my imagery in the header. Hope you like it and may it attract many many visitors to enjoy the beauty and magic of County Kerry.
