Glendalough Clouds

For my third installment of my favorite techniques for taking pictures, one of my real faves is shooting into the sun for landscapes! I know some photographers will just think Meh, to this picture but I am seriously contemplating getting a big print of this done for home I love it! Again taken down in Glendalough.

Discuss. 35/100 Taken at the Museum of Modern Art, Barcelona.

Reminds me of something that J. D. Salinger said, “Just because I’m so horribly conditioned to accept everybody else’s values, and just because I like applause and people to rave about me, doesn’t make it right. I’m ashamed of it. I’m sick of it. I’m sick of not having the courage to be an absolute nobody. I’m sick of myself and everybody else that wants to make some kind of a splash.”

Barry Somers: Golden Gate

Sadly the best shot I could get of the bridge due to the very heavy fog that rolled in just as the bus pulled up the the visitors carpark...it was so thick I couldn't see much of the bridge even when I was standing on it.

I did walk out onto the bridge just to say I had done it and by the time I had walked back to the bus the fog had lifted a good bit to allow me to get this shot.

Madeleine Calaido Weber: • Valentia Island County Kerry Landscape Photography – Mist & Light

Valentia Island - Mist and Light 17.02.2010

During the last week we had no wind and dry air - many farmers burned their fields and southwest kerry was covered in dust. Juni and me found this wonderful light performance by nature in the morning. Valentia Island is still asleep and suddenly the sunlight hits the island and transforms it into another world. click on the link above the panorama to see a detailed view. Enjoy, Madeleine back to Homepage www.calaido.com
