This photo of Tatyana was taken last Saturday on the grounds of the Adare Manor. An amazing fog descended that morning which refused to lift all day but made for a great backdrop.

The lighting was a single bare 580EXII from camera left to help lift Tatyana from the background. As for processing, the majority was to further emphasise the fog so that it closer represented how it looked that day. Other than that there was some cloning of distractions and the usual tweaks. I've included the original for comparison on this one so just roll your mouse over the original link above the photo.

What can I say, I love my fantastic wife :)
Shot in Tramore, Co Waterford down by the dunes, a very fitting shot for Valentines day I though :)

Will Knott: Kissing circle

kissing circle

Sometimes chance smiles, other times she points and laughs. This shot is a bit of both.

I noticed the “cut-out” in the Samuel Beckett Bridge, and that through it you could see some of Dublin’s landmarks. As I was focusing the couple on the other side of the bridge turned to kiss.

Snap!

Just as a car pulled in front of the vista leaving its radio areal in the shot.

Oh well.

I’m sure someone will stage this shot soon enough. A wedding party perhaps?

All wrapped up

Petrol pumps sit idle at the same derelict station I shot this flo gas photo.

One of my photos will be auctioned off today as part of Bid For Haiti in the Metropole Hotel in Cork. Paul O’Mahony is organising it but my brother Donal is helping to get prints together.
