The Almond Croissant Diaries: Baking
030/365 Oops! I *accidentally* purchased some tart cases the other day and I’ve been itching to try them out, especially as my sister gave me some baking beads for Christmas. The first thing I tried was thrown together on a whim - feta, spinach, tomato and onion tarts. They tasted amazing!
Next on the agenda are miniature lemon meringue tarts! Yummy!
Scenes of Ireland (and more): Snow Cobwebs
Taken in my lovely Sister-in-law's garden on Christmas morning 2009; the everpresent spider webs that seem to thrive in Irish gardens were frosted with a heavy hoar frost, so heavy the entire countryside gave the illusion of a real White Christmas. The spider webs were something I have never seen before and I think they came out very well.
