These photos were taken duing an impromtu photowalk around Curraghchase with Denis. As I was photographing, the idea of a panel of photos came to me so I went about finding different plants and angles that would hopefully tie the panel together.
(If you like these then you'll love the work of Julie. To me at least these remind me of Julie's style, not that I set out to achieve it but as I was processing them they reminded me a little of her work, which can only be a good thing!)
Also, it's time for nominations for the Irish Blog Awards. Irish photobloggers have produced some amazing and inspiring work this year so be sure to nominate your favourite Irish phoboblog here.

Mallow Camera Club, recently hosted an evening with award winning photographers Julien Behal and Mallow’s Sean Murphy to present their own photographs from a recent trip to India, as part of an awareness campaign by GOAL. A large attendance of over 180 people attended the Hibernian Hotel in Mallow to see a presentation of photographs for over 3 hours. It was a memorable evening made all the more worthwhile by the raising of valuable funds for GOAL, predominantly by the voluntary efforts of Julien and Sean. The evening raised €3,495 which was greatfully recieved by Alison Crowzer from GOAL on the evening. Pictured at the event were Tim Geary, Sean Murphy, Pat Sheehan, Alison Crowzer (GOAL) and Julien Behal. Also pictured is Tim Geary Tresurer of Mallow Camera Club presenting a cheque to Alison Crowzer on the evening for €3495.

Rossbeigh Beach at Earthshots.org 17.01.2010Earthshots.org features my second image. Feel very honored. This is Rossbeigh Beach, County Kerry. Rossbeigh Beach is one of the most beautiful Beaches of Iveragh Peninsula, Ireland. I was lucky enough to capture this massiv storm cloud during a wonderful pink sunset.
