Peter Cox: Zambezi River Photo Workshop

§ January 10th, 2010

I'm delighted to announce a new and exciting photography workshop. In October this year, I'll be leading a group down the Zambezi River in Africa. Starting at the base of Victoria Falls, we'll raft downriver for seven days, photographing the magnificent gorge along the way. Here's a map of our route:
If you'd like to learn more about this once-in-a-lifetime experience, have a look at my Zambezi River Photo Workshop page!

inphotos.org: The Snow Dog

§ January 10th, 2010

Oscar our Shih Tzu is as comfortable in snow as he is in any other extreme weather. He’d rather be indoors in the warmth!

It snowed heavily and steadily today in Blarney. We took Adam out in it after wrapping him up warm and he played with the kids down the road, throwing snow around, messing with a bucket, and generally having fun.

Hi Mairead! Glad you follow my blog, you should comment some time! :)

I know it must seem strange to many people but the man is nearly a saint. Already? What did he do with those reports he was getting from Dublin and Ferns I wonder? Would he too be asked to resign if he was around?

Barry Somers: The Road to Work

§ January 10th, 2010

Anyone in Ireland knows that for the past few weeks we've had a cold snap, well since the 6th January we've had snow in Kilkenny and its made getting to work fun for me, 80% of my journey to work is on backroads which receive no grit or salt so when there's frost or snow it gets alittle fun going to work in the mornings. None the less I get to see lovely sights such as the above and also this so it almost makes it worth it :)

Ice Fields of Kildare
I normally take pictures of this field during interesting weather, but I never thought I'd be standing out in it as the temperature drops towards -10C and the freezing fog forms.

Global warming how are ya.
