Connected by a Thread
Leaves of our Poinsettia. I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to process this shot even though I ended up doing very little to it apart from cloning out a lightspot. What was so hard? I was fighting my instinctive use of the Blacks/Vibrance/Clarity sliders in Lightroom. What I loved about this image is the "dreamy" nature and I've kept that. The spider thread is what makes the composition by tying to two leaves together.

This one's for PT, my West Australian brother in law, who doesn't get out of bed unless it's 25C. -5C here this morning.
