I’m currently in the process of moving house. Moving in with my friend Sarah who has not one but 2 cats. Suffice to say there may be a few cat photos over the next few weeks.

Porchfield: The Gooch
As promised to my friends from Kerry. My first foray into sports photography and hopefully not my last. It was a strange game. I always felt that Meath had it for the taking but didn’t seem to get their head around it. A chance gone. A bit more composure and confidence and they would have won it. Never mind. Good luck to Kerry in the final. Even though I was shouting for Cork against Tyrone that was a once off. I dislike Tyrone’s style so much I was driven to it.

The Lighthouse Keepers cottage at Galley Head, Co. Cork during the Heritage Week open day/art exhibition. In case you couldn't tell, it was a very "soft" day.

Mannix and Culhane on Washington Street occupies a low single storey building on the corner with North Main Street. Did they lose the top floors of their building a few years ago? I remember a girl was killed just up the road when falling masonry from a neighbouring building fell on her.
I have a vague recollection that this building was found to be similarly weak but maybe I’m making it all up in my head.

I only had the 30 f1.4 with me at the Lughnasa festival, so had to head down the back to get some wider shots of the stage. I have to admit I never noticed the couple while i was taking the shot.
