Mr. Toons Gets Ballooned

The wonderful Mr. Toons gets up close and personal with his balloon act at the recent SPWC festival in Cork.  As with the Piano Juggler, I thoroughly enjoyed his show.  Here’s hoping we get more great festivals like this in Cork.

O'Briens Sandwich Bar

“O’Briens’ HQ placed in examinership” according to this news report yesterday. This is their fairly recently opened (and more recently closed) “sandwich bar” on Oliver Plunkett Street here in Cork.

Loved their Triple Decker, even if it was a little pricey. Hope the company survives.

Peter Cox: Seminar Scheduled – Composition and Postprocessing

§ July 10th, 2009

I've just scheduled a one-day seminar on composition and postprocessing for landscape photography. The date is set for September 19th, 2009. The seminar will run from 10am to 5pm and costs just €50. It'll take place in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin. For more information, and to book, please visit the seminar page. I've done a few of these in the past and have found them very enjoyable - I'm sure you will too. Availability is limited, so book early to avoid disappointment!
