McAWilliams: Red flower on barren land

Red flower on barren land

Well I never thought it, wedding photos take a long time to process up, but I am back and posting again! I loved taking this photo when I was on holiday, it was the last morning before we had to fly home and I had decided to take a walk down to the port, the landscape is quite barren and when I spotted this red flower resting on a fallen pine cone I had to take the picture.

Sometimes you get lucky. The rain started as I was walking past the funfair, and before it reached me, this appeared.

Gingerpixel: Newborn Photography: Sweet Twin Sisters

Two incredibly sweet twin sisters that I photographed recently. They were 4 weeks old but at 5 and 6lbs they were still tinier than most day old babies and fiesty as anything.

In case you’re wondering where the lens and exposure data for these files is gone, well I got a bit tired of typing it in so I found this handy little plug in that puts it in for you. Just hold your mouse over the photo and presto chango, up pops all the info.

**I’m not sure when it happened but comments were set up to allow only registered users to comment. Thanks to Chris Ward the creator of this handy exif plugin for letting me know. It’s back to normal now…at least it should be.

Hot off the Memory Card: Red Chains Lead the Way

§ June 22nd, 2009

This freshly painted fence on Skellig Michael just begged to be photographed. It was also crying out for some colour-popping but I thought I'd try something a little more subtle. Although the non-red channels have been desaturated, they haven't be completely washed out. I worth was a go.
