I was out working late one evening last week and was lucky enough to have the camera with me when the sun was setting. I used a long lens to compress the perspective and am happy enough with the result.

I'm not a big fan of summer sunrises mainly because of the unforgiving time you need to get up for them.
The Almond Croissant Diaries: Washed out!
Unfortunately the photowalk was pretty much completely washed out yesterday! I couldn’t believe how much the weather had changed from the beginning of the week - one day we were smoothering ourselves in suncream, the next we were soaked to the skin after being outside for only a couple of minutes!
But thanks to those that turned up. It was great to see Rory, Ben and a couple of others who braved the elements after reading about the walk on the Dublin Event Guide.
The original plan was soon abandoned in favour of joining Phil in the pub to dry off and grab a hot (or alcoholic!) drink. It was a real shame but these things happen! Will just have to make sure I get across for another photowalk soon!
