I guess it’s only to be expected that in a city with two buildings that begin with ‘Web’ the taxi driver is going to end up taking you to the one that is twice as far as the one you want to go to. I was taken to Webprint rather than Webworks, which I could have walked to, but those two rivers confuse me. Thankfully taxi driver didn’t charge for the detour and pointed out areas of interest in a sortof tour-guide fashion to make up for the extended trip.

It was another laid back day with some of the Irish web greats. The inspiration and energy could be felt in the air. Everyone was pleased to be there and the level of participation was top-notch. The Webworks building is a good space for such an event.

I met a lot of good people (some I had met before but didn’t remember), some I had only heard of. I did my own photo session with some of those who wanted a photograph for their business profile and such (I will post them on Pix.ie tomorrow).
Afterwards was the much needed food in Hardwood followed by [many] drinks. Thanks to everyone who made me feel welcome. I had a great time.

Well its been ages since I posted, and I was so looking forward to getting a good picture of Rebecca in her halloween outfit, but do you think she would stand still, god no excitement was just to much, so sorry for the blur, although I think it actually helps with the ethereal feel of the picture.
Well last years pretty pink witch outfit did not fit, so we had to get a new costume and Paulas sister came to the rescue with a tutu and we had some winds my mother had given us ages ago, so blend the 2 together and you get in Rebeccas word a fairy princess or sometimes when she was asked what she was dressing up as she would reply “a lady”, god I love the way 2 year olds think at times.
