In recent years the traditional Lee Swim has been re-instated. I was almost convinced to do it this year but didn’t do so in the end. I might do it next year though, which seems an awful long way off at the moment… Above, one of the competitors swims under the quite recently built Cornmarket Street Bridge while spectators enjoy the sunshine. Sometimes, just watching an event can be enough!

A speedboat, at speed, races past the more sedate Naomh Ciaran II on our way to Oilean Cleire, or Cape Clear. You can see the island itself in the background!
