Storm clouds gathered over West Cork on the day I took this shot at Allihies Beach. A very different shot to some of the previous shots of this area!
It was freezing this day, wind howled and I was wrapped up in a big jacket against the elements. Gives me the shivers just looking at this photo.
Just goes to show, people can read littering signs here as well as they read them anywhere!

These are snaps from Ethan’s christening party. They remind me of every childhood birthday party I’ve ever ever had.
The ones with the pineapple-and-cheese-on a stick, with your aunt’s signature dish (my aunt Jackie does a mean egg-mayo-paprika thing), with the fresh breads, the apple and rhubarb pies, the rolled hams, the chocolate treats and, of course, the cake!

John’s Image portrays the Kerry coast in a moody and dark perspective.
